William Ryan Homes Tampa Wins Tampa Bay Parade of Homes Award for Its “Jensen” Multigenerational Home 

TAMPA, FL — William Ryan Homes Tampa has earned a 2019 Tampa Bay Parade of Homes award for its multigenerational home called the “Jensen,” which is designed to comfortably accommodate multiple family generations under one roof.

The Jensen has a true second master suite with features like dual vanities, walk-in closet, and large Roman walk-in shower. The 4-bedroom floorplan still provides a guest bedroom. It also has a three-car garage and is on a larger lot (minimum width of 65 feet), providing additional space outside the home as well. 

The 2019 Tampa Bay Parade of Homes competition included nearly 30 production and custom homebuilders of communities in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties. The Jensen was an award winner in the $450,000-$499,000 category.

The number of Americans living in multigenerational family households has hit record highs, with more Americans choosing multigenerational homes to accommodate grandparents, grown children and other relatives. Multigenerational living is defined as including two or more adult generations, or including grandparents and grandchildren younger than 25, according to Pew Research Center.
