Buckeye is the westernmost suburb in the Phoenix metro area, although only one of many. The economy is good, there are plenty of activities for the whole family, and there are more homes and residences being built every day.

Of course, you can’t beat the weather in Arizona. Perfect for those with ailments that don’t react well in the colder climates, it’s the ideal retirement town. 

There is the Buckeye Aquatics Center, which is for the entire family, but there are areas for kids, special places for exercising, diving boards, a beach area, and is is all under the watchful eye of a certified lifeguard.

For the history lovers in the family, check out museums, historical sites, like the old courthouse, the Buckeye canal, the Gillespie Dam, Little Agostinelli Trailhead, and so much more. Make a day of it with a packed picnic lunch.

When it comes to getting out to see some live theatre or a movie, you will be spoilt for choice. There are plenty of movie theatres within close proximity to Buckeye and experience everything from drama to comedy when you head out to see live theatre.

Whether you are looking for a quick bite for breakfast or a great place to celebrate a special occasion, you will have plenty of options to choose from. Expect to find your favorite chain fast-food restaurants, fine dining, and everything in between.
