Perfect for every day of the week, City Lake Park offers 13 acres of fun the whole family will love. It features a brand-new playground, a gazebo, a 4-acre catch-and-release lake, a half-mile walking trail, and tons of open space. Kids can also enjoy one of the many community programs created by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department.

Shenaniganz

A family fun favorite is a visit to Cathy’s Critters zoo experience. This zoo was created to bring joy and educate the DFW area about exotic and farm animals. Feed and pet the animals, take a trail ride, or hire them for parties and events. This zoo has it all, but make sure to plan your visit as it’s only open on weekends.
