Like nearly everything during the era of Coronavirus, looking for a new home is a different experience. In particular, the way new home tours are conducted has changed. As we all work to stay safe, responsible homebuilders like William Ryan Homes Tampa require appointments to ensure the safety of homebuyers and employees.
Here are four things to be aware of as you make your new home tour appointment with William Ryan Homes.
There are lots of good reasons to buy a new home right now, particularly one from William Ryan Homes. The result: Our model home tours are very popular. And to be fair to all those who make appointments, your tour appointment needs to start and stop on time. So, if you are late for your appointment, there will be less time for you and your family to look at the model home. So, please be on time, or please let us know if something comes up, so we can reschedule.
Our one-hour tours have been reduced to 50 minutes, which allows 10 minutes between appointments to properly clean and disinfect before the next homebuyer. Additionally, as part of our safety protocols, we are limiting each tour to one family. Learn more about our coronavirus safety precautions for in-person tours.
Our sales consultants are wearing masks and practicing social distancing. While your family does not need to social distance during the tour, we do. And everyone must wear masks, without exception. For safety during this time, friendly hugs have been replaced with nods of gratitude and elbow bumps.
We know that not everyone agrees with wearing masks and social distancing, but these are steadfast rules. However you feel about the rules, we ask that you understand and honor our commitment to the safety of homebuyers and our employees. Our sales are not allowed to adjust our coronavirus safety protocols, so please don’t ask.
The COVID-19 safety protocols for new home tours apply to realtors, too. Realtors need to make appointments, be on time, and practice safety measures like wearing masks and social distancing. We enjoy working with so many outstanding Realtors, but we are making no exceptions to how we handle new home tours during this time.
